Vickie Joseph, DVM - is a veterinarian with 20 years experience. Board certified in avian medicine and surgery, Dr. Joseph oversees the medical needs of the raptors arriving at the Foundation. Dr. Joseph also evaluates the educational birds representing CFBP. Dr. Joseph is co-owner of the Bird & Pet Clinic of Roseville, a full service veterinary clinic tending to the needs of dogs, cats, birds and small exotics. Dr. Joseph also works at Idexx Veterinary Laboratories as an avian consultant for veterinarians.

Andy McBride - has been a falconer for 30 years. He brings his years of experience as a falconer, raptor rehabilitator and conservationist to the Foundation. Andy helped promote the Carolina Raptor Rehabilitation Center in its infancy. Andy has been a lineman with PG&E for 20 years, promoting and practicing the construction of raptor safe power lines. Andy also established Gos Creek Consulting, a company promoting raptor safe power lines in the utility industry.

| Charlie Kaiser - is a falconer with extensive experience in raptor rehabilitation and working with raptors in education settings. Charlie works to organize many of the foundation’s education events. Charlie also trains birds for educational facilities, as well as training the people who will be working with those birds. He is a computer network professional and builds the CFBP newsletter as well as the CFBP web site. | ![]() |

Pam Hessey - is a falconer who has also worked in raptor rehabilitation and education for many years. Pam helped to develop the raptor handling program at The Lindsay Wildlife Museum in Walnut Creek many years ago. Pam works with Charlie training raptors for education facilities and the handlers as well. |
| Joe Atkinson - Joe has been involved with birds of all kinds his entire life. Joe holds a master falconers license and is a licensed eagle falconer by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Joe has trained, flown and released numerous golden eagles for CFBP over the years. | ![]() |

Mike Pociecha - Mike has been working with birds of prey for 42 years. A licensed falconer and worked for Orphans of The Wild, Anderson's Animal Park, and Hermosa Reptile and Wild Animal Farm. This entailed animal care, training, rescue, rehabilitation, educational talks and television work with mammals, reptiles, and birds. Mike is currently participating in volunteer fund raising for CFBP at Scottish Games, schools, educational talks and gatherings.

| Paula Bishop - Paula has assisted with birds of prey since 1988 and has been a licensed falconer since 2000. She participates in volunteer fund raising events for CFBP such as Scottish Games, schools, educational talks and gatherings. Paula excels in group organizational skills. |

Vicki
Valentine is a Sacramento Valley native who has been interested in animals
of all shapes and sizes from a very early age.
She studied biology at Sacramento State University and the
University of California Santa Cruz. |
